UPDATE: We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the NEW WiiFuse! As you could probably tell, things look a little different around here. Essentially, we had some big technical issues. After some effort, hey_suburbia (owner) decided to reboot things. At this time, we simplified the boards, making it easier to navigate…and in the process, archived the old threads for 3-4 days. Since then, we have deleted those old threads in order to start fresh.
With the addition of the DSi downloads, according to N-Sider.com, the “Wii-kly Update” will soon become the “Nintendo Download” on April 6, 2009. Because of this, we at WiiNintendo will also be replacing our “Wii Shop Channel Updates” with something more DSi & Wii specific. Tune in on April 6 for our first update. March 30 will be our final “Wii Shop Channel Update.”
Fans of the the “Wii-kly Update,” normally issued Monday mornings and containing the latest in Virtual Console and WiiWare downloads that become available at 9 a.m. Pacific time that day, will have a new update to look forward to starting April 6th.
The “Nintendo Download” report will feature not only Virtual Console and WiiWare titles, but also titles from the new Virtual Console Arcade as well as DSiWare. The name change obviously reflects the same change that Wii Points are going through as they are now “Nintendo Points,” given the addition of DSiWare to the mix.

Weston has passed…

We decided to donate Weston’s organs to the Gift of Life Donor Program. We recently learned that Weston’s heart qualified as an acceptable donor organ and will be used. Weston’s heart may go on to help another infant or even a mother in need.
However short was his time with us, he had a pair of great parents.

Mickey, take a break from WiiNintendo for awhile. We got it covered here.
Unfortunately, Weston had a very difficult night with multiple seizures and uncontrollable bleeding from his brain. The EEG results verified no brain activity and consecutive tests led to the same conclusion. Weston is currently on life support and will only make it a few more hours to 24 hours… We’re waiting for final consultation before we remove his breathing apparatus. We have the most amazing Doctors in the world at CHOP and they provided top notch care. We love Weston very much and are extremely distraught. We have family around us and around Weston. My mom and Diana’s sister will be holding him during his final moments. I will let everyone know when he passes and keep you informed on future arrangements. We have our phones off only because it’s too much to have to explain each time. This page will give you updates until we can get around to calling everyone. Thank you everyone for your support it means everything to us.

Well, I really wanted to wait and let Mickey post this up, but I decided to go ahead and do it myself.
Mickey DeLorenzo’s, AKA hey_suburbia, son was born yesterday. Weston Atticus DeLorenzo, as he is so named, needs your thoughts and prayers.
The baby is suffering from a fractured skull, bleeding from the brain and is experiencing seizures. His mother is also in pain, both physically and emotionally.
Mickey, my heart goes out to you and your family. I hope this all works out! We will hold the fort here, so don’t give us a second thought for awhile

It is a little later than originally forecast, but the Scavenger Hunt is returning, probably early this March. But, then again, I might get impatient and go through with it near in the last week or so of February, so be ready!
No idea what I am talking about? Then I recommend reading through the old Scavenger Hunt articles, or at least the original one.
Oh, one last note. Naturally, there WILL be a prize for the winner. Ok, that’s a wrap!
