About Us

Long Story Short…

NintendoFuse is a Nintendo fan-site launched in early 2006 as WiiNintendo. We do our best to bring you the latest in Nintendo news, game/product reviews, and other Nintendo-related goodness. We do this purely for fun and for you, our amazing readers.
Our staff consists of the following:

Mickey DeLorenzo (hey_suburbia)
Editor in Chief

hey_suburbia miiMickey became a life-long Nintendo in 1985 at the age of 4. His next door neighbor got a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas that year. They played Gyromite, Duck Hunt, Hogan’s Alley, Ice Climber, and Super Mario Bros. nearly everyday until his 5th birthday in February 1986 where his Dad brought me to KB Toys and he got my very own NES (He played Coleco Vision prior to this). A year or so later he found himself in KB again. This time, there was a game on the wall behind the counter with a gold case amongst the sea of grey. He was like a dog distracted by a shiny object. Without knowing it his Dad set my life in a direction with a single purchase. The gold case game “The Legend of Zelda.” A part if him wonders what would he have become if that NES game was grey like the others…

Mickey started the site in 2006 as a way to share his love for Nintendo with others. You may have heard about his Wii Sports Experiment or Wii Fit Experiment, which received national news coverage.

Steve has been a Nintendo fan since the NES. He remembers playing his cousin’s at Christmas, and wanted one for himself. When he got home later that night, his parents surprised him with his own. He has been hooked ever since. He currently owns a NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, GameBoy, DS, DSi, 3DS, and 3DS XL. His favorite types of games are action platformers and multiplayer “party” games. Overall, he loves a game that is pure fun and pulls him in for hours, and if that can be shared with friends, it is even better.

Steve has been blogging for NintendoFuse since April 2008. He started off as an avid reader, and eventually was asked to jump on the team. Currently, he enjoys writing game reviews and sharing breaking news with the fans and readers. You will also find him on the forums as an admin.

Hassan Ahmed (DarkWish)
Blogger, Podcast Producer

darkwish miiIn June 2008, Hassan was offered a position at NintendoFuse, and he accepted it right away. He is a big Nintendo fan, and has owned every handheld since the Game Boy Color and every console since the Nintendo 64. Hassan’s philosophy is very simple: “fun”. He plays video games to escape from life for a while and just relax and enjoy. As a blogger, Hassan’s focus is to provide the most detailed news articles and hands-on impressions that you will find anywhere. The more information that he can provide to the fans and readers, the better. And to further expand on his philosophy of fun and his detail-oriented goal, Hassan started up the NintendoFuse Podcast in September of 2009.

Hassan has been blogging for NintendoFuse since June 2008, and he enjoys being a part of this wonderful community. He hopes to provide you with the latest and greatest Nintendo news and rumors, as well as hands-on impressions, with as much detail as possible to benefit the fans and readers.
