About Us

Long Story Short…

NintendoFuse is a Nintendo fan-site launched in early 2006 as WiiNintendo. We do our best to bring you the latest in Nintendo news, game/product reviews, and other Nintendo-related goodness. We do this purely for fun and for you, our amazing readers.

Our staff consists of the following:

Mickey DeLorenzo (hey_suburbia)
Editor in Chief

hey_suburbia miiI became a life-long Nintendo in 1985 at the age of 4. My next door neighbor got a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas that year. We played Gyromite, Duck Hunt, Hogan’s Alley, Ice Climber, and Super Mario Bros. nearly everyday until my 5th birthday in February 1986 where my Dad brought me to KB Toys and I got my very own NES (I played Coleco Vision prior to this). A year or so later I found myself in KB again, this time there was a game on the wall behind the counter with a gold case amongst the sea of grey. I was like a dog distracted by a shiny object. Without knowing it my Dad set my life in a direction with a single purchase, The gold case game “The Legend of Zelda”. A part if me wonders what would I have become if that NES game was grey like the others…

I started the site in 2006 as a way to share my love for Nintendo with others. You may have heard about my Wii Sports Experiment or Wii Fit Experiment, which received national news coverage.

hattrick miiI’ve been a Nintendo fan since the NES. I remember playing my cousin’s at Christmas, and I wanted one for myself so bad. When I got home later that night, my parents surprised me with my own. I have been hooked ever since. I currently own a NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, GameBoy, and Nintendo DSi. My favorite types of games are action platformers and multiplayer “party” games. Overall, I love a game that is pure fun and pulls me in for hours, and if that can be shared with friends, it is even better.

I have been blogging for NintendoFuse since April 2008. I started off as an avid reader, and eventually was asked to jump on the team. Currently, I enjoy writing game reviews and sharing breaking news with the fans and readers. You will also find me on the forums as an admin.

I have been a fan of Nintendo since the NES days. I remember playing Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and Legend of Zelda II: The Adventures of Link countless times as a kid. From there I moved into the SNES and kept up with all the Nintendo consoles since then. I never did get into the handhelds, until now with my Aqua Blue 3DS! Apparently, I missed alot! My favorite games are FPS and Platformers. When I’m not working I’m spending time with my wife and our two young sons. I’m teaching my oldest how to play video games, he is quite good even at 3 years old. In my free time I game, read, or just hang out with the family.

I’ve been blogging for NintendoFuse since October 2010. I really enjoy reviewing games, writing my thoughts on them and being a part of the community.

darkwish miiHello readers, the name is Hassan. In June 2008, I was offered a position here posting Nintendo news, and I accepted it right away. I’m a huge Nintendo fan of course, and own every handheld since the Game Boy Color and every console since the Nintendo 64. My philosophy is very simple: “fun”. That’s why I’m here, that’s why I play, that’s what I’m all about. As a blogger, my goal is to provide the most detailed news articles and hands-on impressions you will find anywhere… the more information I can provide to the fans and readers, the better. And to further expand on that philosophy of fun and my detail-oriented goal, I started up the NintendoFuse Podcast in September of 2009.

I’ve been blogging for NintendoFuse since June 2008, and I’m excited to be here as a part of this wonderful community. I hope to provide you with the latest and greatest Nintendo news and rumors, as well as hands-on impressions, with as much detail as possible to benefit the fans and readers.

Hello everyone!  I’m Greg, and I was offered my position due to my input and participation in the Ambassador Game Competition which started in October 2011 and ended in November 2011.  I obviously accepted since I consider myself to be a huge Nintendo fan.  I am happily married and currently have 2 cats.  My addiction, I mean hobby started with the NES when my grandma purchased it for my brother and I for Christmas one year.  We started with Super Mario Brothers with Duck Hunt set and Super Mario would become the first game I beat.  From there we got the SNES, Game Boy Pockets, Colors, and the N64.  My brother  then left for college and I had taken a few years off not playing much.  I then eventually got the Game Boy Advance, Game Cube, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and then was a first week Wii owner (from reserve).   Finally, I had a DSi which I then traded in for the 3DS.  I’ve enjoyed the majority of the Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid games and many other Nintendo titles.  My favorite series is Mariokart with Mariokart 7 becoming my favorite one (formerly the Wii one).

I’m very passionate about my hobby and happy to discuss my thoughts on anything regarding Nintendo.  I am constantly trying to find new Nintendo related news, rumors, and information.  My goal is to assist the staff report Nintendo related news and review games for Nintendo consoles to the best of my ability.
