Nintendo Download – October 25, 2012

On top of all the Nintendo Direct information we received this morning, we also get our weekly Nintendo Download. Like the past several weeks, it is again very Nintendo 3DS heavy.

Speaking of which, we will start with the 3DS eShop If you are into flying and shooting, check out Liberation Maiden. If platforming “in the dark” is your thing, you will want to download NightSky. For those looking for some Halloween-type classics, you can get Ghost’n Goblins or Castlevania: The Adventure. A free demo of Marvel Pinball is also available today. Our next full retail game, Professor Layton & the Miracle Mask is coming October 28.

On top of all that 3DS goodness, you can also download some updates and DLC. A free 20 bonus levels are now available for Mutant Mudds, and two more Coin Rush packs are out for New Super Mario Bros. 2.

If puzzle and strategy games are your thing, check out 18th Gate for DSiWare. However, if running and gunning are more your style, check out the multiplayer shooter, Shock Troopers, for the Wii Virtual Console.

So, what do you think of this week’s releases? What game gets you excited to play? Let us know in the comments below or in our forums! Be sure to check out the price list and official press release below, and let us know if you download a game/app and what you think.
