Aqua Moto Racing 3D and Snow Moto Racing 3D comes to Nintendo 3DS

Zordix has secured financing and started production of two games in the already hugely successful Moto Racing series called Aqua Moto racing 3D and Snow Moto Racing 3D. They will both be expanded, polished, and adapted for the Nintendo 3DS™ and then be published in the Nintendo eShop. Release dates will be revealed later.

“The successful Moto Racing-brand with 13 million downloads and over 1.5 million sold so far, is an exceptionally god fit for the Nintendo 3DS™. These games are action filled, will look great in 3D and via the circle pad enable a level of control that racing games of this caliber really deserves! As the Nintendo 3DS is steaming towards 20 million units sold, the market for good downloadable games is blindingly bright.” – Matti Larson CEO, Zordix.

A Hollywood financing model

For this project Zordix decided to use a new model of financing. In this model, already common in the film industry, investors gets a chance to invest in single projects which are easy to explain and evaluate. It, simply put, takes the guesswork out of the equation and puts real and understandable numbers onto calculators. This model has been a huge success and the spots for new investors wanting to make money is filling up at a pleasing pace.

About the author:

Jeremy’s love of gaming, especially Nintendo started in the late 80′s when his parents bought him and his older brother an NES. Many hours were spent playing Mario and Duck Hunt. Eventually Jeremy graduated to bigger and better games and systems, like the SNES, GC, Wii, 3DS, and finally to the Wii U. Ask him what the defining moment of his childhood gaming was and he’ll answer, “the day I beat Zelda 2.” To this day that game holds a special place in his heart. His favorite types of games are platformers.

Jeremy started blogging for NintendoFuse in October 2010. He started off as a lurker on the forums who won a free copy of And Yet It Moves on WiiWare. From there he realized he liked the forums and the site and wanted to remain a part of it. He was brought on board shortly thereafter and has helped post news and reviews for the past couple of years. Currently Jeremy has taken a step back to focus on family and school. He assists in minor back-end site maintenance from time to time.
