Japanese Garden (Wii U) – Hands-On First Impressions

The next Nintendo home console, called Wii U, will feature full high definition graphics. One tech demo that I got some hands-on with really showed off that graphical power. What they are calling the Japanese Garden looked amazing. The television screen displayed a beautiful fly-through of the garden. All the while, you can look around the garden with the Wii U remote, utilizing both the analog circle pads and the motion sensors. The water and sunlight were especially impressive in HD. In addition, the remote screen looked fantastic. We do not know if this will end up as an actual game, but it was a great demo to show the system’s graphics and controller.
