Miyamoto receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Japan gave Shigeru Miyamoto the Lifetime Achievement award. Last month, he celebrated his 57th birthday and this month receives the Lifetime Achievement Award. With his creativity, I’m sure he still has so much in him that he would like to share.
Not only did he receive the Lifetime Achievement award, the Nintendo DS and Wii consoles were given the Distinguished Service Award and were said to “further expanded the horizons of gaming culture”.
Miyamoto just recently stated that he would not have gotten hired in the video game world today with the video game credentials that he came in with.
