According to tetrisgrammaton on NeoGAF, the latest issue of Nintendo Power talks about Pokemon Rumble, the upcoming WiiWare game. As previously reported, the game will release on November 16th, however the game will actually cost 1500 Wii Points (like in Japan) and not 2000 Wii Points as previously thought.

The other interesting bit of news though was that a demo will be available. We know that Nintendo plans to test demos for a select few WiiWare titles, but we didn’t know if this would happen only in Japan or worldwide. Now it seems they do intend to bring WiiWare demos to the US with a Pokemon Rumble demo, however I am classifying this as a rumor because no further details were given and it could possibly be referring to demo stations as in kiosks at stores.

Oh, and Nintendo Power has an exclusive code to unlock the Pokemon Venusaur in the game, and it’s 1589-3955. I’ll try and get more details on this whole demo thing. But like I said, it’s just a rumor so don’t get excited yet.

UPDATE: Multiple sources are now reporting that it is indeed true. The latest Nintendo Power states that “a free demo of Pokemon Rumble is available for download at the Wii Shop Channel”, which means it’s true and must be coming soon. I wonder what other games, if any, will get free demos.
