Nintendo’s Financial Results Briefing is on Oct. 30th

Let me start by saying this… this briefing is not the October Conference. On October 30th, Nintendo will hold their Semi-annual Financial Results Briefing in Japan. It’s not a Media Briefing, so there’s probably not going to be live-blogs or anything. However, there might be a few announcements. Last year, the DSi was leaked by Nikkei on 9/28, then announced at the October conference on 10/2, and held their Semi-annual Financial Results Briefing on 10/31. At the briefing, they announced multiple DSiWare titles as well as WarioWare D.I.Y. for Japan. The whole briefing was put online here.

Now with the report of a DSi with a bigger screen, and no October conference happening, I have a feeling it will be officially confirmed at the Financial Results Briefing or at the very least, we’ll get some small tidbit of information. Then again, we could get nothing like the Miyamoto keynote. Either way, we should get some sales data which is always interesting. And so one final warning: DO NOT GET HYPED. We all know what hype has lead to in the past week or so.
