Well, this is good news for Nintendo. BusinessWeek has released their list of the World’s Best Companies of 2009 and Nintendo has taken the #1 spot! What does it take to make it to the top? Well..

“A commitment to innovation, diversified portfolios, aggressive expansion, strong leadership, and a clear vision for the future—these are just some of the strategies employed by the best companies to get to the top of the World’s Best Companies/Global Top 40 list.”

If you’re curious, Google was second, and Apple was third. But where are Sony and Microsoft? They’re not even on the list, which lists the Top 40 companies. This is definitely an interesting discussion piece, so I’ll be sure to talk about this in WiiNintendo’s Nintendo Fuse Podcast tomorrow (Tuesday, the 6th) at 9 pm eastern time. Be there to share your thoughts!
