WHOOPS. Wrong article. Please ignore. My browser apparently had a brain fart.

I might add most of your points are invalid.

    1) As you mentioned, "numbers mean little." So why bother mentioning them? The fact that Miley Cyrus albums cd sell more than decent albums is by no means an indication that Miley Cyrus is an excellent artist. Same with Twilight Princess. it was GOING to get bought, because of the title it bears.

    2) This game was a LAUNCH TITLE. One of the reasons it won best graphics was because it was one of the only games out at the moment with decent graphics.

    3) I must concede. Midna was kickass.

    4) The story was... not so much engrossing as it was repettitive. Orcarina of Time was much better, hands down.

    5) Musical Score? Wind Waker and Orcarina were better.

    6) Boss Battles? REALLY? Those were so easy, when i beat a boss, I was always wondering if there was going to be a part 2 of the boss...

All in all, the reason Twilight Princess is bashed so much is not because of a "thirst for more" but because it tried to stick to a tried and true formula, but missed the mark and lacked what players wanted from another "mature-ish" Zelda game.

    My 2 cents. Peace.
