The Internet Channel is available to download* from the Wii Shop Channel today, for 0 Wii Points™

If you have previously used 500 Wii Points to download the Internet Channel, at the end of October Nintendo will be offering you the opportunity to download, at no cost, one NES game of your choice (valued at 500 Wii Points) from the Virtual Console catalog. Details of this download offer will be provided via the Wii Message Board and on Nintendo.com soon.

  • @NapMan - Ok, just making sure you knew that you didn't have to wait on Netflix. Yeah, it'd be cool if they do go ahead and have access now, but according to Microsoft, it will be exclusive to them at least through December.

    @hattrick - I know you can but I thought I heard that Netflix was going to offer it directly on the Wii without having to have PlayOn.
  • @NapMan - You can already stream Netflix through the PlayOn service available for Wii through the Internet Channel and a download to your PC.
