Wii Fit Book Now Available August 14, 2009
As some of you may or may not know, I had a fairly large “book deal” a few years back after I gained international attention as the “Wii Workout Guy“. I lost 9lbs. playing Wii Sports and dubbed it my Wii Sports Experiment. I appeared on countless Television programs, radio programs, magazines, newspapers, and all over the internet. The experiment caught the eye of a literary agent in NYC and along with a ghost writer from Men’s Health Magazine we got a publisher. Everything was a go, but the publisher wanted Nintendo’s blessing before they put out such a book. After a few weeks we finally got word back from Nintendo of Japan that they could in no way sponsor, endorse, or allow use of their intellectual property (images/logos). The book was scrapped.
I never count my chickens before they hatch, so I didn’t mind. Disappointed? Sure, who wouldn’t be. I’ve been a Nintendo fan since 1985 and I still am today. In fact, Nintendo did fly me to NYC (from Philadelphia… it was a 30 minute flight) to be one of the first in the world to try out Wii Fit. Reggie and Nintendo also gave me a shout out during that years E3 when they announced the Wii Fit.
I went on to do a follow-up to my “Wii Sports Experiment” with my “Wii Fit Experiment“, and as you can imagine now there are 100’s of people who have lost weight playing Wii Fit, EA Sports Active, etc… and the whole “Exertainment” gaming industry has exploded. At any rate I’ve partnered up with Amanda Dexter to help her promote her Wii Fit book, so have a look/see:

This book will be a great help and guide for wii gamers who actively doing this, not just for fun, but also for losing weight. Actually, this reminds me of my aion guides.
