Nintendo: Free Metroid for VC August 13, 2009
Nintendo has announced a Metroid giveaway via the European Club Nintendo.
The platform holder is giving away 5,000 downloads of the original Metroid on Virtual Console to gamers who pick up Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Nintendo: “To qualify for the promotion, players must be one of the first lucky 5000 who register their copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy on the European Club Nintendo website and who have previously registered one of the Metroid Prime games (Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, or Metroid Prime 3: Corruption).”
Metroid Prime Trilogy launches on September 4th.

WTF?! We finally get Club Nintendo in the U.S., and Europe still gets better promotions! Oh well, I still have Zero Mission for the GBA which has original Metroid unlocked.
