First Look: Shadow Tower – Screens & Scans

The latest issue of Famitsu features the first look at Shadow Tower, a new Wii puzzle/platformer by Hudson Soft. You play as the shadow of a boy, making your way up a hazardous tower. Perhaps he is the safety inspector.

Being a shadow, you won’t be able to interact with the physical platforms, but rather, the shadows they cast. Lighting will play a huge role in puzzle solving, warping and changing the direction of shadows. A black butterfly follows the boy on his quest, and can help move light sources when possible.

Shadow Tower doesn’t have a release date, and it’s still unclear if it will be retail or WiiWare.
