If you’re one of the many series fans who’ve bemoaned the fact that Konami’s first franchise foray on Wii isn’t a totally new adventure, then you’re in for a shock. Shattered Memories might be inspired by events of the original Silent Hill game – both sharing a protagonist in the form of Harry Mason, plus a handful of other returning character – but, from the moment Harry’s car overturns and daughter Cheryl disappears into the fog of Silent Hill, it’s clear that Shattered Memories is spinning a very different yarn.
