Arc Rise Fantasia – Wii Trailer

Plot

Arc Rise Fantasia is set in the Meridian Empire. Creatures called “Contaminant Dragons” are causing a lot of trouble as they pass the Meridian in flocks. If one is killed, the resulting explosion poisons the local area. When the empire receives word that a massive horde has its sights on the capital of Diamant, it immediately sends out an army to fight them, including L’Arc, a cool and collected novice mercenary, and his friend Arth (short for Alphonse), the beloved prince and second in line for the throne. L’Arc is severely injured during the battle, but is saved by a girl named Ryfia, who has secrets in her past and possesses the power to control “ley squalls,” naturally-occurring storms of magic that usually take the form of luminous rain. A young woman named Adelle, who has been a friend of L’Arc since childhood, renders assistance to the party through use of her unique form of magic, Luminomancy.

Other characters who appear in Arc Rise Fantasia are Sarge, an orange-haired dagger fighter, Lesley, a pink-haired gunslinger dressed scantily, Clyde, a general who wields an axe, and Nikol, a young redhead sharp-shooter who follows L’Arc like a lost brother. A blue-haired little girl using fisticuffs and a veteran middle-aged swordsman will also join your party in the course of the game.

Gameplay

The game is a turn-based RPG. There will be three-character parties, with a single AP gauge being shared by the team, which empties as various actions are performed. Multiple attacks are possible, as well as massive attacks that will drain a lot of AP. If team members use the same skills, those skills will be increased. There are also summon beasts in the game called “Roguresu.
