Top 10 Games to Turn your Girl into a Gamer… April 9, 2009
ResumePlay compiled a list trying to answer that age old question, no, it’s not “Are we alone in the universe?” …something much more involved, like how do we get our significant others to enjoy/understand gaming like we do!

#10 Super Mario Bros. – Sorry Mario…
More often than not, your GF either has fond memories of this game (I’m sure even the pope does) or has at least played it, if not, leave her. But seriously this game encompasses the most basic of video game rules and regulations. Run, jump and power up, nuff said.

#9 Tetris – Put on your furry hat…
As with #10 on our list, surely, your GF has played this one as well. This will get her good with sudden disappointment and persistence, which we all know as all to common traits to gaming. It will also increase her cursing skills.

#8 Sims 2 – When life gives you lemons, evict and delete them…
Mr. Wright has yet to fail us, and this installation of the Sims is no exception. Micro-management is the name of the game here, from juggling your bills, job, and kids to cleaning cooking and relationships. I had a bit of a choice to make between Sim City and the Sims; I chose the Sims because it seems to have a little less steep learning curve, that and you can sleep around.

#7 Guitar Hero – OH! Barracuda, bun diga dun diga dun diga dun
This game still haunts my sleep, if I hear “Through the fire and flames” again, I will shoot my self in the face. Not a whole lot to say about Guitar Hero that every one doesn’t already know; good for honing your coordination.

#6 Wii Sports – A casual Gaming break
Wii sports is, well, in my eyes, revolutionary. It makes the non gamers, the ANTI-gamers want to play. It gives a player the freedom to move around the room without restriction and develop other skills than besides button mashing, which is a perfectly fine skill to have. This game is a good angst release, especially Wii Boxing. Any time that an argument arises, whip out the nun-chucks and go at it. We all know what comes after a big fight don’t we?

#5 Sonic The Hedgehog – Will you help me past the purple water part?
Quick game play requires quick reflexes, reflexes make you deadly with a controller and internet connection. Sonic is one of my all time favorite games, and with the simple, fast game play, I feel that you are able to focus more on accuracy than anything else.
What would your top 5 be?
