I mashed some videos from IGN and put them into one video showing a side by side comparison:

Metroid Prime Wii remake that’s hit Japan this month feels like a brand new game indeed. New Play Controls: Metroid Prime takes everything that was in the GameCube original and brings in many of the elements that Retro Studios applied to Metroid Prime 3 for the Wii. This means full Wii Remote and Nunchuk functionality as well as widescreen support.

The GameCube version I played was from the US, while Metroid Prime Wii is currently only available in Japan. So the obvious first difference between the two editions in the footage is the language.

  • I'm playing this game right now, well actually the second one. Translated in english, and it's so dope. I beat the 3rd one for wii and hadn't really had a chance to play the others on gamecube previous. Just beat Call of Duty World at War and The Conduit. The Conduit was way to quick of a game, worth a rental. Multiplayer is decent but there is no run button which blows for dodging rockets.

    IGN has these SAME videos I used on their site as comparisons just not playing next to each other, all I did was edit the videos into one. Read the article.
