We have the press release and we now have an official release date and price, but we don’t have too many pictures of the US Nintendo DSi units. Yea, they look the same as the Japanese ones, but it’s cool to see the menu in English, and especially to see the new Blue Nintendo DSi. Check out some tidbits about the US Nintendo DSi below:

- Launches in US on April 5th for $169.99 in Black and Blue.

- Some of the options in the camera are “Distortion”, “Color Pad”, “Mischief”, “Emoter”, and “Resemblance”.

- Press release from Nintendo hints at DSi-only retail titles.

You can view many more pictures after the jump, though they’re mostly of the Black DSi. I’m going to buy the Blue DSi, so I’m hoping we’ll get more pictures of it soon.
