I’ve been a long time member of the GBATemp.net forums (2004) and some really talented members over there came up with an amazing Softmod for your Wii.

Forum member 20Clarky08 has posted the latest release of RiiskiMod and it works great.  I installed it last night and it went smoothly.

Here is what RiiskiMod can do:

- Full Disc “Enhanced” Region-Free
- Full Channel Region-Free
- Diagnostic Menu (Recovery) access through GCport1 Y-Button
- No Copy Save Protections Removed

    Say you have a copy of Wii Sports and it’s seen some better days, so you make a copy or backup of the game and burn it to a DVD-R, you’ll then be able to launch that game in the Disc Channel, just like your original game.

    Yes they can be undone, but is not easy.
    I would wait a little bit to install this as it is a complicated hack.
    once cSM is out, no need for this anyways

    FYI, under US law technically this is not legal as it bypasses copy protection (Illegal under the DMCA) regardless of what purpose the bypassing of copy protection is for. I believe the EU also has a similar law but if you’re Canadian or from a host of other countries this is completely legal (for now).

    After installing The Homebrew Channel you can run WAD files, WAD files could be Wiiware and Virtual Console backup files.

    RiskiiMod is a series of WAD installs that will then give you the ability to do everything listed.
