WiiZii – 3rd Party External HDD Solution

Team Matrix is reportedly working on delivering a solution for the storage problems that a lot of Wii owners have complained about since Nintendo isn’t really doing anything concrete about it yet.

The solution here is called WiiZii, a plug and play mod that lets you connect an external HDD via SATA to your Wii. This is supposed to open the way to “super quick loading” of game backups and homebrew apps by way of a menu.

WiiZii also comes with 2MB of on-board memory and an upgradeable firmware.

    Good thing SATA is favored over IDE.
