THQ sends word that Rainbow Studio’s unique insect action-adventure Deadly Creatures is heading to stores on February 9.

Putting players in the role of either a tarantula or scorpion, Deadly Creatures is a single-player battle through hordes of dangerous insects and reptiles. Upgradeable attacks, and a voice cast including Billy Bob Thornton and Dennis Hopper, round out the features.

  • This really looks like a quality title from a third party publisher.
    I'm just afraid this would be overshadowed by Tenchu, Overkill, OneChanbara, and Dead Rising.

    It would make sense if they had put this out earlier or schedule for a summer release instead.
