Nintendo teams up with music teachers to bring Wii Music to classrooms

According to a press release, Nintendo is teaming up with music teachers to bring Wii Music and Wii consoles to classrooms. Says Cammie Dunaway, NoA’s executive VP of Sales & Marketing, the goal here is to “give students a memorable, hands-on experience that helps them discover their own creative voice.”

Nintendo’s collaborators include MENC: The National Association for Music Education, which will help teachers in 51 cities across the nation integrate Wii Music into their curricula. San Francisco’s Blue Bear School of Music and New York’s Opus 118 Harlem School of Music have also signed on.

Hey, this is just a thank you for your site. IGN and all the others are too crowded with info I don’t care for and countless advertising. I appreciate your site. I hope you stick around forever. Although your married now, so we’ll understand unexpected breaks from the site beyond your control every now and then. Take care.

Shazard, hey_suburbia (the owner) has been married for a pretty long time. hattrick is the one who was just married, and he is just a blogger, same as myself. :)

As for the post, I think it’s kinda ridiculous, but maybe they’ll have fun.
