RUMOR: DSi coming to the US on April 4th for $180

IGN is reporting a rumor that the Nintendo DSi will release in the US on April 4th, 2009 for $179.99. That means it’ll retail for $50 more than the DS Lite. It seems NOA wants to sell the DS Lite and DSi at the same time, having two different versions to choose from. IGN said they got this information verified from three different sources, though it’s still a rumor for now. I’d say it sounds pretty reliable and I’m excited for it. I would have liked the price to be a bit lower, but I already planned on buying it and still will be. April 4th can’t come soon enough.

    in my opinon i think its a resonable price because look at its like a psp expect for it does not have videos or skype and it has 2 screens 1 is a touch screen 2 cameras and a mic built in so think of the dsi as a psp except better

    lol im lucky i kinda of got a job my stepdad does yard service and hes paying me 5.00 per yard and he has 15 yards he does twice a month plus i get 20.00 alowance each month so im extremely lucky and happy :p

    I didn’t say it’s too much, I said I personally can’t afford it. I know it’s worth the $180, but without a full-time job or an allowance, I’ve either gotta wait or save for it. I pick wait. I’ll have by the end of the year.

    Yea Roth, definitely post those pics.

    I’m excited for the DSi. I sold some old textbooks and within a few days I should have enough for the DSi on launch day. That’ll make it my second system that I buy on launch day (Wii was the first).
