Japan get’s lucky with new Wii Channel: Today And Tomorrow’s Lucky Fortune-Telling Channel

Yea, that’s right. Everyone in Japan got ANOTHER Wii Channel while we get to sit and stare at screenshots (which by the way, are at the link below). Okay, so this isn’t like a demo channel or something totally amazing, but it’s still a new Wii Channel. The “Today And Tomorrow’s Lucky Fortune-Telling Channel” launched today in Japan and can be downloaded for 82 blocks of that precious space. You can add up to six Miis to this channel. You know those birthdays that you can add to a Mii when you make them? Well now there’s a use for them since this channel uses the Mii’s birthdays to figure out how lucky they are. If your luck is low, just hold down A and B and you can change the color of your clothes to a luckier color.
If you click on a Mii, you’ll see what its future holds in five different categories (love, work, school, communication, and money). But that’s not all. There’s also a friendship compatibility test, and the results of it change daily. You can also have your Mii ask about a certain subject, and then three random words will appear for you to interpret on your own. Sounds interesting, huh? Okay, not so much. Nintendo, where’s our Digicam Print Channel or cool channels like the Everyone’s Theater Channel?! Sure, we get the Wii Speak Channel this Friday, but I want more! Yes, I’m a little bitter that Japan gets all the cool stuff. No word on a US release for the channel with the very long title a.k.a. ”Today And Tomorrow’s Lucky Fortune-Telling Channel”.
