Guitar Hero: Modern Hits coming soon?

Activision has stated that they wanted to increase the number of Guitar Hero games they released. The fourth main game in the series, Guitar Hero: World Tour, just the other day and there are two announced spin-offs in the work, which are Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades and Guitar Hero: Metallica. Add the rumored Guitar Hero: Hendrix and you have a bunch of upcoming Guitar Hero games. But that’s not enough for Activision.

Activision has applied for the copyright to Guitar Hero: Modern Hits. The application mentions that this product has to do with “downloadable computer game software” and “computer game discs”. That makes it seem to me like it’s a full game that will have DLC for it, just like the other recent Guitar Hero titles. I love Guitar Hero, but I don’t know if I should be excited or worried for all these games coming soon. I can only imagine what songs will be present in Guitar Hero: Modern Hits, and it’s got me worried. In the meantime, enjoy the teaser for Guitar Hero: Metallica, which is seen above.
