@Mack2D2: yea, they’re clueless. For Guitar Hero: World Tour on ALL platforms, there are three different packages. There’s a package with just the game, a package with game and guitar, and the full band kit package (game, guitar, drums, microphone). All three packages are in stores now. They have not confirmed if they will release the drums separately in the future, though I think it makes zero sense if they don’t.

I was told by a Fred Meyer electronics department salesman that they did not have any drum sets in for the Wii yet… and also by a GameStop employee that the Wii’s drumset is not being released until January, not even in a combo package with the game and another guitar. What gives with this? Are these people retarded, or am I missing something?

One other thing, I noticed in the screenshot that it says “USB Audio Device” Hmmm…. I’m pretty sure that my drum set does not have a USB connector. So, there is no Mac support and maybe no Wii support as well??
