The Conduit Dev Talks Wii MotionPlus Support, Sequel October 3, 2008
Wii owners looking for more accuracy from their Wii Remotes when High Voltage Software’s The Conduit releases are in luck, as the developer of Wii’s upcoming FPS has gone on record as saying that the game will ship with support for the MotionPlus accessory.
“We’re hooking it [MotionPlus] up,” said [High Voltage Software's Eric] Nofsinger. “We want to support it. Probably for this version of the game there’s not going to be a whole ton of really extensive use of the Wii MotionPlus. For the sequel to the game, we definitely do want to incorporate more melee and things like that. We want to support it.” — MTV Multiplayer
Nofsinger seems pretty sure about a sequel for his game when The Conduit hasn’t even been released yet, no? Either way, while all Wii games demand accuracy from the Wii Remote, FPS games like The Conduit, which requires pinpoint precision for players to succeed, should benefit from MotionPlus support one would think.
