Yea, I think Punch-Out was the franchise revival. Sin and Punishment 2 was a good announcement though.

Sin & Punishment 2 was one of the highlights for me last night.
No wonder they released the original import on VC. I thought it was just to ready up for Brawl, when in fact they were actually making a fully-fledged sequel.

Looking forward to a lot of those titles, and hoping they all release worldwide. Especially you, Tatsunoko vs Capcom!

I’m satisfied with the conference. And there’s more news coming stateside?

I’ve never played S&P yet but I highly doubt it’s my kinda thing anyway…

Still it’s always nice to see something new…

Although on that note the new DSi kinda has me mixed considering I recently just made the upgrade to Light now only to find out the old DS format is already being replaced by something more powerful… (It looks like a PSP and iPhone gang raped a DS Light & ^THIS^ is the bastard child we are all now stuck with)

Though that being said the DS & DS Light are more or less bridge devices & this is the first time we’re seeing a standalone systems that doesn’t pretend to be half Game Boy…

So I dunno… Might be a great thing, OR… It might be a total flop because the Light is still so popular… (See Sony & their PS3 in comparison to the PS2, ONLY yahknow… Without all the painfully obvious self worshipping)

Yeah, that’s right there. Kid Icarus deserves it more than S&P. Unless they don’t make it a rail shooter and actually make it a full fledged action adventure game, then it’s fine by me. Otherwise, I won’t bother getting it…..

Yah… I also feel somewhat blindsided by that one…

I mean… It was ONE GAME… Kid Icarus is even more qualified to be called a franchise then S&P…

Unless of course you simply mean the dictionary definition of the world, At which point anything with a copyright could be up for grabs I guess…

Woah, by “franchise revival” I wasn’t expecting Sin and Punishment. And still, no Kid Icarus or Zelda. I’ll wait for the US conference though.
