Animal Crossing: City Folk has some motion control after all

I’m very excited for Animal Crossing: City Folk. I’m a huge Animal Crossing fan, and there’s plenty more to do in this game. Even so, there are still those that are disappointed that the game doesn’t have more. One of the big complaints I’ve heard is the fact that there aren’t any motion controls. Turns out there actually are some motion controls, as the above scan illustrates. From what I can tell, it looks like we’ll be able to swing our Wii Remote as a fishing rod and a bug net. I didn’t see anything on using it as an axe, shovel, or other things, so we’ll have to wait to find out about that. Hit the jump to see another scan that shows more of the controls.

“(Bottom) Perform various realistic control using the motion sensor!
    Fishing
Throw and bob the lure like the real thing!

    Swinging the Net
Swing the Wii Remote down as if it were a net to catch bugs!”

Well, that’s all it says about motion control, unfortunately.
