Nintendo to hold a US conference on October 2nd and 3rd September 17, 2008

We recently got confirmation that Nintendo was holding a conference in Japan on October 2nd. Now, IGN brings us word that there is a two-day conference scheduled in the US on October 2nd and 3rd. I believe last year they had a conference in the US shortly after the Japanese one. I think it’s safe to say that they will announce a few things in the Japanese conference, and then give us US release dates in the US conference. I think it’s also safe to say we’ll get release dates for Wii Music and Disaster: Day of Crisis as well. Well, with the announcement of this conference, I’m starting to get hyped.

    @dark-saito: If you want to think of the 3D Mario games for consoles, Super Mario Sunshine cound be SM64 2, SMG could be SM64 3, or the remake of SM64 for the DS could be SM64 2. Your choice.

    I wouldn't mind hearing something about the next Zelda game, other than confirming that it exists.

    Thank God, i thought i was the only one that thought wii music was a joke... REALLY? play an instrument with such little buttons? -shakes head- we better get a Mario 64 2 here... and zelda...and metroid... and kirby... wow i can't believe the list was so dissapointing in what nintendo hasn't given us ._. This conference is their last chance with me "-3-

    i really only care about the new Legend of Zelda game, hopefully they give us a spring release time frame
