guitar hero 4 music studio 600x337 Guitar Hero 4 MIDI Sequencer not for the Wii?

According to some info posted over at Shacknews, info has been revealed about Guitar Hero: World Tour’s MIDI sequencer. It seems the PS3 version will contain more capabilities than the XBox 360 version; however, nothing has been stated concerning the Wii version. Does this mean it is completely absent?

The MIDI sequencer functionality encompasses rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, keyboards and drum tracks on the PlayStation 3, but will be limited to drum tracks on the Xbox 360 due to unspecified “hardware issues.” The feature will arrive as part of a week-one patch for the game, which hits October 26.

  • This quote was based on Neversoft who are only developing for the Xbox360 and PS3 versions. The developer for Wii is Vicarious Visions, and PS2 is Budcat Creations. That should explain why it's not mentioned for the other two systems.

    F*** my wii.....:(
  • The xbox 360 version will feature more extras than any other version, making it better
  • We shouldn't be alarmed, they didn't even mention the PS2 version either.
As far we know, Wii version will be able to upload songs.
PS2 version won't be able to do that, unfortunately.

/me waits for Bill Gates' reply.. \:D/

I wouldn't read too much into it, it seems most websites seem to think in a "360 or PS3" way.
A lot of people still ignore the Wii or simply don't think about it.

I saw something about a MIDI sequencer on X-Play, so I came to check it out. If the Wii version doesn't have it, then they lied. The Wii version is supposed to have everything from the other versions.
