WiiNintendo re-launched it’s Social Gaming Site, Wiigg.net a few weeks ago. It’s been up and down for the past 2 years, but now with the latest open source software of Pligg, it really runs a lot more smoothly.

What does Wiigg and “Social Gaming Site” mean?

Well, ANYBODY can submit news, write news, post a video, post a screen shot, photo, whatever and then other users vote on the submission, the stories with the most votes get “promoted” and appear on the front page of Wigg.net and also on WiiNintendo.net’s front page. It functions very much like Digg, hence the name Wiigg. You can view “upcoming articles”, you can click on “live” and view ALL activity on the site, submissions, comments, votes, etc.. as they happen.

This site is functioning 100%, but I’m still designing/adding plugins.
