Madden ’09 Reviews are coming in

Nintendo Power – 90/100
So while EA may not have lived up to its marketing directive, it’s succeeded in creating quite possibly the best, most fully featured sports sim available on the Wii.

IGN – 86/100
EA is showing a serious investment on Wii, and Madden NFL 09 All-Play truly delivers. Whether you’re a gaming rookie or seasoned veteran, there’s something here for everyone, and that’s what All-Play is all about.

GameDaily – 80/100
It comes up short in certain areas when compared to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, but that doesn’t stop it from being the best Wii football game.

Stay Tuned later today I’ll have a Live Feed of Madden ’09 when I get home, I’ll also continue my Live Feed of Fatal Frame IV

i’m getting it today, i hope, but i *really* want to know if all the bugs in madden 2008 for the wii have been ironed out.

for instance, in madden 2008 online play/lag was HORRENDOUS. i couldn’t take it. i’d snap the ball and it’d take 2-3 seconds to register. same with attempting a pass or a juke.

another bothersome thing was that when it would be a 3rd down and 1 yard play, it’d cut to a cinema view along the sideline, and when i’d hit A to return to a normal view, the entire screen looked incredibly blurry for that play. that’s really, really unhelpful when 3rd and 1 is a big play on the field.

It is great, all the bugs are gone, online is super crisp. I played 5 games last night and only dropped once, but the player disconnected. You cant go wrong!
