Nintendo World Ad in NYC

As I was walking around with some friends yesterday in NYC (waiting for the Yankees/Angels game to start), I saw these advertisements on the bus stops.  It’s not much, but I thought it was cool.  Of course, I had to take a picture and share it with those of you who might not make it to NYC anytime soon.  (Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to visit the Nintendo World Store, as we were busy seeing things like the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero for the first time.  Definitely next time, though!)

    Cool. I’ve been to the Nintendo World store once. It’s pretty nice but smaller than I had envisioned. They have some cool older gameboys on the top floor. One of them had been melted/damaged from a grenade or something (soldier brought it with him). They also had some specially themed/rare gameboys. It was cool to see anyway.

    Happened to be in NYC for the first time last month. I dragged my wife and everyone to Nintendo World and it wasn’t bad, but, yeah, a bit smaller than I would have thought. At the very least I purchased a Chain Chomp soccer ball. I mean, how often do you come across one of those?

    Thats cool. I’m actually visiting some family out on Long Island now and I went to the Yankee and Angels game today and the Yanks won 14-9!!! And yeah I’ve been to the Nintendo World store a few times and we are going back into the city again this week and i might go to the store. Which team do you like?

    @ Yankee2 — I was actually just going to see the stadium. You’re going to hate me, but (from the AL) I’m a Red Sox fan. :-)

    why were you just going to see the stadium? and yeah it was unexpected when i found out you are a red sox fan. how long were or are in NY for?
