5 Rare & Expensive DS Games July 24, 2008

I know there are games out there that sell on eBay really well, but what I do not get is the fact that you can still buy some of these games in the stores for MSRP (or cheaper).  I remember buying my copy of Monopoly-Boggle-Yahtzee-Battleship on sale (for like $19).  I bought Club House Games right when it came out, but I’m sure you can find it somewhere for cheaper than $40-50.

(By the way, these are not the MOST expensive and rare games…just a list of 5 of them.)

    i have that exact jap import Electroplankton, it a really good game and the box looks cool, i got it before it was released in english. glad its worth something now.

    Feather stylus for phantom hourglass? I never saw that in my bundle, got mine off lay away and tax free from a miltary store, kinda dissapointed with the lack of design, I wanted to see some characters from zelda or mini versions of box art or even different versions of link. Instead its just gold w/ matching stylus and the triforce symbol on the cover, whoopee.... I think the guitar hero bundle is way cooler looking.

  • My brother has the Phantom Hourglass gold bundle. The feather stylus is a little strange :p
  • Yeah, Electroplankton was one of the first DS games.
    I wanted the Japanese import because it comes in a special box you see above with EP-themed headphones.

    I got Clubhouse Games right after I got an email advert from the Nintendo DS newsletter. Glad I did 'cause the game rocked with the addition of Wi-Fi.

    They also didn't mention the limited edition Gold Nintendo DS Lite Zelda bundle. I too wanted that but never have I come across it.
    Prices are jacked up now though.

    I wish i had electroplakton :( but I got clubhouse games jsut last week for 25$ and I got tetris i think 2 years back
  • Woah, Electroplankton is rare? I got that game for £5 from a local game store. D:
