Jimi Hendrix Confirmed For Guitar Hero World Tour

Activision (officially) announced Jimi Hendrix will be in GH IV, Hendrix also be a playable character in the game, and two songs of his will be on the game (more via DLC):

* “Purple Haze (Live)” (recorded in 1969 at the San Diego Sports Arena)
* “The Wind Cries Mary”

It would be cool if you had to flip the guitar upside down to play.

    no, it’s just simulated fire using an inset LCD tv screen on the body of the guitar… they’re trying to justify the price of these whole band rythm games.
