Sonic and the Black Knight announced

Remember that teaser that Nintendo Power had in their last issue? It had a sword and some sort of circle on it. Well, that issue is now finally out in stores and the title has been revealed. It’s called Sonic and the Black Knight, and it’s well… Sonic with a sword. Sega has released a press release about the game, which you can read below. The game will release only on Wii in Spring 2009. I really hope it uses the Wii MotionPlus attachment, but I have a feeling it won’t.

Hope its not like secret rings.

Sonic looks beastly with a sword.

    Ha ha… beastly… Sonic Unleashed… roflcopter

  • Charmy

Hrm…. I’ll wait for more info before I judge it.

Ya. Secret Rings was weak IMO. Hopefully this is better.

  • Beximus

My only big gripes about secret rings was

    1) you couldn’t turn around

    2) you have to charge the jump button to do a real jump then let go of the jump button to actually do it. that kind of crap isnt good for when you’re traveling extremely fast and SUDDENLY theres a need to jump

    3) the controls do not lend well to when you have to land on tiny platforms floating in the middle of the water. no wonder you had infinite lives in this game.

heh i forgot to say that if they fix those then perhaps sonic and the black knight will be worth buying. but i’ve learned my lesson. im renting first this time.

lol, I allways was anti-sega (don’t kill me), but lately I have softened up to the blue blurr, but allways hated him for his meaningless games, but this one looks bad as… err… cool.
