Metacritic Wii Review Round-up

Nintendo Power 85/100
As anyone who has played a “Mario Golf” title can tell you, developer Camelot knows how to make a great golf game. [Aug 2008, p.88]
Official Nintendo Magazine UK 85/100
Gets the nod for its accessible controls and online gameplay. It’s definitely more about multiplayer though. [Aug 2008, p.91]
Games Master UK 81/100
The best golf on the Wii. Definitely worth playing with several golf-loving mates. [Aug 2008, p.68]
n-Revolution Magazine UK 80/100
It’s the best golf game on the Wii, but you should wear sunglasses to shield yourself from the primary colours. [Issue #24, p.72]

GameZone 88/100
It’s a beautiful, deep, fun role-playing adventure, and certainly one of the best RPGs available for Wii.
Cheat Code Central 88/100
An excellent and surprisingly deep game. This title does an excellent job of walking the fine line between being a Final Fantasy title and a dungeon crawler and gets the formula just right.
IGN 84/100
There’s a great mix of gameplay styles here, from strategy to action to RPG. Square Enix’s polished touch is all over this one, from the nice voice acting to the humorous dialogue.
1UP 83/100
It’s definitely a game for RPG fanatics who go in more for the challenge than the plotline, and no doubt casual players who pick it up for the oh-so-cute cover art will be rather surprised by how brutally it savages their dignity (although a generous learning curve should help ease them into their suffering). Still, it’s a definite success, taken on its own terms.
