    it is amazing

  • Kevin

Ew. Really? It seems like that’ll pick up all sorts of environmental sounds instead of just the player’s voice.

  • Surgical Precision

    OH GOD NOOOOOOO!!!

Now they’re gonna be complaining about screaming at the top of there lungs in addition to all the crap they’ve already broken over at Wii have a problem!

  • Stephen

    screw you kevin

  • Stephen

    im just kidding

  • Kevin

Granted, I really haven’t gotten much information about it… I just saw this and responded. But really, I hope they make it work better than first appearances.

  • Surgical Precision

No matter what I probably can’t use this thing anyway…

My voice is completely monotone, I can’t even effectively use the DS mic with my games… I can’t imagine separating the distance between the mic & myself somehow helping my situation any…

And besides if it has a cord then where exactly do we plug this thing in?… I’m already using both my usb ports for my LAN Adapter (For Brawl) & Keyboard respectively…

I think it’ll go into the Sensor Bar’s power port ’cause it’s possible for data transfer. So if you guys already have a wireless sensor bar, you have nothing to worry about. Otherwise, there’s probably a power port on the Wii Speak so you can plug the Sensor Bar to there then plug the Wii Speak to the power port.

If it’s USB, then you’ll have to sacrifice a USB port. Go wireless, that’s what Wii’s built to do.

I that I care about is that it works enough to where I don’t have to have the Wii Speak next to me in order for someone to understand. You know what I mean? Also I hope that previous games would be compatible with wii speak or that a update will be available so when can use it to chat with people in Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

Brawl needs some sort of voice chat. SSBB is really more fun with it (i.e. locally).
