Second Semi-Annual WiiNintendo Scavenger Hunt

Hello, soon-to-be happy hunters! Hello to the soon-to-be unhappy ones too!

Some of you may remember last  year’s Scavenger Hunt that I hosted here. Well, we are using pretty much the same system this time too. For those of your that don’t, I will reiterate them below.

Before we get too far though, let’s discuss the winnings. Yes, there WILL be a prize, donated by local awesome guy, Mickey DeLorenzo (Hey_Suburbia).

First off, you are looking for this image:

Kudos if you know what it means. Anyway, you will not be able to simply look up the URL because the URL for the REAL image is entirely different.

The Hunt for the image lasts from today till at least Friday.

How do you go about finding it? Here are the basics:

To start you off, I will give you the link to the first page at the end of this article. In that page, you will be given a clue to find the next article, which will also give you a clue. Clues may be very straightforward (such as “Go here”) or very subtle (such as Great Scott! How ever are you doing that?(italics are the clues here))

Clues will give you one of two things: A direct link to the next article, or keywords to type in the WiiNintendo search engine.

The direct link is pretty straightforward, but the keywords are where you need to look closely.

In the case of keywords:

• The clue will be within the FIRST FIVE PAGES of results.
• You may need to actually open an article (instead of reading it from the search) by clicking the “More” button to see the clue.
• Don’t forget to check image alts by holding the cursor over images! (FireFox users (and possibly other browsers) may have to right click pictures and click “properties” to see the alternate text. Sorry for the inconvenience!)
• You will NEVER be directed away from WiiNintendo, have to watch a video or read comments for a clue.

I will be adding clues daily. If you reach the dead end today (you will be told when you have), wait until I announce the addition of more clues tomorrow. This system allows readers that start a day or three later to catch up.
