Wii Homebrew: Wiiload simplified 2.0

I just wrote a new version of sendtowii, more info of sendtowii can be found here! This version no longer uses batch files but it comes in exe form, you also don’t have to have wiiload installed before use.

Instructions:

- Run the .exe

- Enter your IP

- No realy, thats it!

You do not have to download wiiload or set any variable as described in my previous post, this exe will do EVERYTHING for you.

Download

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, if you don’t trust it and want to see the source than you can request it in the comments.

Note: You might have to restart Windows for this to work, but probably not ;)

i’m kinda new to this (very new) what stuff can i send to my wii other than pictures using this? what firmware must i not have in order to use it also?

  • harry

I use wiiload. But because of my Wii’s static IP i have to keep changing the settings, but does this fix that problem?

Did you actually make this or are you reporting on it?

@Beximus: You can’t send pictures, you can have any firmware and you send homebrew games, apps, etc. to the Homebrew Channel.

    Way to go Nils! Thx.

Beximus: It runs on any firmware and you can send all homebrew applications, read my previous posts for more info! find them by clicking homebrew in the menu on the right!

Harry: if you want your wii to have a static ip you’ll have to either set it on the wii side or link your wii’s mac adress with a certain ip in your router settings.

WB3000: I wrote the installer, I did NOT however write the applications that actualy sends the files to the wii, thats called wiiload. The author of wiiload, dhewg, takes all credit for that.

“This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.”

i cant seem to run the .exe an error comes up….. “THE APPLICATION FAILED TO START BEACAUSE ITS SIDE BY SIDE CONFIGURATION IS INCORRECT. PLEASE SEE THE APPLICATION EVENT LOG FOR MORE DETAILS.” please help please

  • LordAshes

It depends on the Homebrew. Some Homebrew applications use the classic (GC) controllers and will not work with wii remotes. Some homebrew use the wii remotes but not (GC) controllers (for example when the application uses the wii mote functionality such as orientation or gforce). Lastly some applications allow the user to use either the classic (GC) controllers or the wii remote. Check the documentation that comes with the Homebrew application.
