We first heard of this last week in NP, but Konami has officially announced Castlevania Judgement:

- Characters confirmed – Dracula, Simon, Alucard, Shanoa, and Maria Renard.
- Classic subweapons – holy water, magic spells, dagger, boomerang
- Subweapon use still depends on hearts
- Remixed classic Castlevania tunes
- Set traps, destroyable environments, enemy monsters interfere with battle
- Nunchuck controls character movement, Wiimote used for motion attacks
- VS mode via WiFi
- Bonus content when connected to the DS game, Castlevania “Order of Ecclessia”

Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami:

“We wanted to take this addition to the signature Konami franchise in a direction that really sets it apart from the previous Castlevania titles in the series.  The Wii Remote and Nunchuk capabilities, along with the iconic characters, make this game the ideal entry point into the fighting game genre. This combination is certain to thrill old and new fans of the franchise.”

The game should hit shelves this fall.

So this must be our replacement of Soul Calibur 4.
Let’s see if this even have a 1P/Co-op Adventure mode.
Better yet, put online on that and we’ll be set!
Online Co-op Adventure mode was done on DS so I don’t see why not on this.
    Make it happen Konami! \:D/

When does soul calibur 4 come out anyway? If the release dates are close, this game is going to be totally overshadowed by sc4…

SC4 doesn’t come out until the end of the month, so there’s plenty of time in between. There’s no release date for this game yet so I’m expecting sometime by the end of the year or early next year.
