I hope to all heaven you are right.

But I don’t think you are.

You see, the “research” above encompasses all 3D Zelda games, except the handhelds. Phantom Hourglass was just released on DS. Nintendo could very well be counting that as the next Twilight Princess sucessor, which makes Zelda a no-show at E3 this year.

Just kidding. These facts are well organized–good work! However, nothing is for certain. They could always surprise us. I’m still longing for that 3D remake of LttP that was teased in an issue of EGM. I suppose “tease” is pushing it too far, but “it’s something I definitely want to do” (from Eiji Aonuma) is a good enough of a tease for me. I just hope they don’t tease a bunch of gold in our faces (the TP sunset war, that dark forest, etc) and scrap it. Here’s to hoping.

The biggest question on my mind is what style it will be done in. I feel bad for Eiji Aonuma. I can just picture him jumping up and down with anticipation to release all that apparent info. Haha! That’s funny.

Oh, wait a second. I think that they left out Phantom Hourglass. I played through it, and I consider it a major 3D Zelda game.

And they waited for the Wii to be released to release either version of TP, so there was most likely much more time between the end of development and the release then there usually is with these games.
