Super Mario Marathon Raises over $11,100 for Child’s Play June 30, 2008

This weekend, from 3pm on Friday until 12:30am on Monday, three guys played 7 Mario games to completion broadcasting the entire event live on the Internet to a sustained audience of over 2000, and raised over $11,100 for the Child’s Play Charity from over 600 contributors. It’s great to see a positive story about the video games and the community.

Wow… I’ve done many marathons, like Zelda marathons(TLoZ, AoL,LA,OoS/A,ALTTP,OoT,MM,WW,FSA,TP), Mario marathons(MB,SMB,SMB2:LL,SMB2,SMB3,SM64,SMS,SMG), Kirby marathons(KA, KD, KD2, KD3,…) you get the point… Over the weekends and I don’t get any money… Maybe I should make my friend tape it and put it on youtube xD
