actually Rock Band 2 does have online play but I think its for 360 and Wii only.

I have played both WT and Rock Band 2 there both amazing games I’m having trouble picking though I’m leaning more towards Rock Band 2. Those cymbals look breakable…

I actually have played rockband on 360 many many times at my brother’s house and I LOVEEE IT…and have only played GHWT in the stores and i feel like it lags…it seems more challanging but i guess i like the graphics for RB a lot more. either way I just got my own wii and was trying to decide which of the 2 to get. and I think I want rockband but it sucks that it will have no WIFY. it’s soo hard to ttry and get used to GH since I dont like it..but i guess it just takes getting used to it when you’re so used to the other one. I dont know what i’m gonna do yet…we’ll see.

I say GH:WT. I played both at a gaming expo, and GH’s new guitar doesnt feel crummy like Rock Bands. GH also had more skill to it, and a wider variety of songs. The only bad thing was the wireless controllers kept disconnecting (this was on a 360 btw)

I may just be GH biased, I dunno.

Guitar Hero: World Tour in a heartbeat.

you know redoctane got it right…they’ve made quality controllers ever since GH1 (ive had my controller four years and it has never failed me after all of the bashings ive given it. on the subject of drums i know it wont be any different. rubber coated cymbals and pads make for less clanky, less faulty products. every single song on the GH:WT release list is a master track and the stereo problem is fixed. to be honest i’ve never had much of an issue with audio but i’m sure no one will complain after GHWT. i honestly dont care about the size of the songlist. i was more than happy with GH2′s list when it came out and that only had 60 or so tracks including bonus songs. with DLC i wont even bothing thinking about rock band’s list. i never liked the set in RB1 in the first place.

on matters of difficulty GH has always been on top. expert on RB looked like fast-paced medium in comparison to GH3. intuitive drum fillers will be great in GHWT and the touch bar looks to be running fine from the videos (imo a much more realistic experience to that of the second set of buttons in RB)

Basically if you want a better game buy GHWT. Activision worked their asses off making the wii version just as good as the PS3 and XBOX360 counterparts. i’m not going to be screwed over by harmonix, theyve been dead to me since the split with redoctane.

For wii, at least, GHWT will be something worth getting.

i already pre ordered ghwt….and gh guitars are way more durable than rockbands cause real rockstars slam their guitars and trust me rockbands broke in half the first try and guitar hero well took about 4-5 times so its your choice

gh:wt all the way man!!!!!first, on utube rock band drums have 3 cymbols and 4 pads which is more than guitar hero right, but its an alternative way to play so theres still 4 pads vs. 5 pads. second, ozzy ozbourne and zakk wyled are characters and crazytrain and mr. crowley are songs in it!!! also theres a music studio were you can make your own songs and then post them online in gh tunes were the world can download them for free and wii dlc is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! + you can make your own album logo and instumints and characters and theres tons of great songs!!!gh all the way man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sorry for bad spelling!
