Wii Menu Version 3.3 Now Available for Download June 17, 2008

On June 17, 2008, Nintendo released an update to the Wii Menu.  This is version 3.3.  Below is the message I received in my “Wii-mail.”
Wii Menu version 3.3 is now available for your Wii console. To update your Wii Menu to the latest version, please select the Update button at the bottom of the screen or select the System Update option in the Wii System Settings.
With this update, you can now move a Mii from the Mii Plaza to the Mii Parade in the Mii Channel. To do this, simply pick up a Mii using the A and B Buttons and then release it over the Mii Parade icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Because unauthorized modifications to save files may impair game play or the Wii console, updating to Wii Menu version 3.3 will also check for and automatically remove such save files.
**Please note:
If you’ve updated your Wii Menu after June 17, you may not need to update again.
Thank you for updating your Wii console!

For those of you that have the Homebrew Channel or the run the Twilight hack, don’t install this update if you want to keep it.

Balls, I dont use the Mii Channel at all. seeing as though i am the only one who uses my Wii. I dont need this update. Aaanndd i have Homebrewed it.
Does this update block twilight hack? Or does it just take it off?

I am guessing that it just takes it off, but I don’t have the hack, so I don’t know.
Maybe Mickey will be able to tell us; I am sure he will update.

They’re finally realizing even our Mii channel can run out of space. I had to constantly delete the Mii that people sent because my Mii Plaza was full.
This feature should’ve been there from the start! I don’t get how they could’ve missed this.

It removes the hack. Copying it back over to the Wii’smemory from an SD card doesn’t work, because it checks it as it’s being moved over. The HBC still works, but for people who find out later, they might not get the chance. It’s only a mattaer of time before Nintendo releases an update that removes pseudo channels.

@sam:
1. Go to wiibrew.org. Check out everything they have there.
2. Go work on your grammar. It’s horrible.
