Ocarina of Time 2D Creator: NOT DEAD

It appears that the would-be creator of Ocarina of Time 2D, who was reported to have died in a car accident, faked his death to escape the project. While we can not guarantee that this is really Dampe, I think that it is safe to assume that it is.

His reasons listed are:

As the progression of OOT 2 D grew, so did the fans.
The pressure became unbelievable.
I was getting ridiculous phone calls to my home phone.
I do have a family, and people were very inconsiderate.
I was forced to have my home phone number changed, Dampee does not want American Fags calling him at 3am saying.
lol when will oot 2 d be finished?
Why did I give up?
Because I lost interest.

I can’t blame him for quitting the project… but faking his death? And then reappearing, making fools out of those of us that sincerely lamented his loss…

    I agree with Will. This post is complete trash, even if it was by the original programmer. Whoever wrote the original article used it as a reason to throw insults and nothing more.

    Wait, what? I wrote this because we had kept up with Dampe’s progress on OOT:2D. I don’t know what you mean by saying I used it to throw insults; I do disagree with Dampe’s, if it is indeed Dampe, reasoning and actions… but I myself did say I can’t blame him for abandoning the project.

    I will judge whether or not to remove this by the next three posts (I will check IP, mind you). I really posted this because it is news, and we are here for news. I assure you that “throwing insults” was not my intention :/

    Still, I will judge whether or not to delete this by the next three comments. But, bear in mind that I had no ill intentions when I posted this.

    I find no interest in this post personally… but I see no reason for a retraction. You have your sources straight, and all the information seem so to be valid.. if it is infact a hoax of some sort, it’s pulled off well enough to deserve being on here. Just my opinion.
