Disaster: Day of Crisis Pushed Back May 17, 2008
Our friends at Nintendic posted yesterday that the Japanese release date for Disaster: Day of Crisis (which was said to be around July) has been pushed back to an unannounced time.
To quote from the Google translation of the source material:
“Now, on July 3, 2008 (Thursday) and was scheduled to Release Wii software-only “DISASTER DAY OF CRISIS (Disaster Day of Crisis)” I had to extend the period of development, better quality and customer Delivery for the day we postpone it.”
I know, it is nearly unintelligible… Let me hazard a proper American English translation:
“We had to extend development on the Wii exclusive “Disaster: Day of Crisis” (which was originally slated for a July 3 release) in order to deliver the quality that is expected of us.”
Of course, it goes without saying that we Americans will likely have to wait far longer than the Japanese, but those of you Europeans and Australians in the audience will be the ones to suffer most.
Oh well, to quote a clichéd philosophy: As long as they make it the best they can, it will be worth the wait.
