From the UK manual : “After you’ve weighed yourself, why not try it again while holding your baby or pet? You’ll be able to see the difference in weight and find out how much they weigh too.

NOTE: This feature only works when your baby, pet or item you’re holding weighs 3 kg (7lb) or more. Any weight difference under 3 kg (7lb) will be treated as a natural fluctuation in the user’s weight.”
